Settling to Learn
Learn about the support systems that are available to families in school and what to do if things aren’t going well in our Settling to Learn online event on 5 March 2026 from 6.30pm to 8pm. Appropriate for families of children starting P1 in 2026 or any family who has a child moving primary school as part of their adoption/foster placement.
The aim of the session will be to:
- Learn about the support systems that are available to families in school.
- Learn what to do if things aren’t going well.
- Share how school has been for your child/ren with other families/gain peer support.
- Gain consultation/advise with St Andrew’s Children’s Society Social Workers and the Lead for Education at Adoption UK.
