Centenary Ceilidh
We are pleased to announce that a new date has been set for our Centenary Ceilidh on Saturday, 21 January 2023.
The event had originally been due to take place in September 2022 but we decided to postpone it in light of The Queen’s funeral. All tickets previously purchased will still be valid.
If you would like to join us and haven’t yet purchased your ticket the cost of a ticket is still £15, with a reduced price of £10 for adoptive parents and foster carers.
Music will be provided by the band Jiginaboot and there will be a caller to guide us through the dances. Stovies with a vegetarian option will be provided and this is included in the price.
A bar selling wine, beer and soft drinks will be available.
Raffle tickets costing £5 will be on sale on the night. The main prize is a one week stay in a holiday house in Mull (ferry crossings not included), donated by one of the Trustees. The house sleeps up to four and in addition there is a sofabed.
The ceilidh will take place at Lauriston Main Hall, Lauriston Street, Edinburgh EH3 9DJ.
Please note that accompanied children are very welcome to come to the ceilidh, though it is not primarily a children’s event.
For ceilidh tickets and raffle tickets please contact: St Andrew’s Children’s Society, 7 John’s Place, Edinburgh EH6 7EL. 0131 454 3370 or info@standrews-children.org.uk.
