Adoption Open Day in Aberdeen
We are holding an Adoption Open Day in Aberdeen on Wed, 22 Nov from 1pm to 6pm as part of Adoption Week Scotland. Our office is based at 62 Dee Street, Aberdeen AB11 6DS.
If you are thinking about adopting a child, why not come along on the day and speak to one of our social workers? They will be able to tell you:
- What it’s like to adopt a child
- Who can adopt
- About the adoption process
- About the lifelong adoption support available to you if you adopt through us
You can ask any questions you like. Whatever stage you are at in your adoption journey, we can help you.
We are a voluntary adoption agency which means that we can look across the whole of the UK to find the right child for you – we are not limited to looking in just one local authority area.
We have helped many families in and around Aberdeen to adopt and you can read about one family we helped to adopt here:

There’s no need to book a space or call ahead, but if you would like to speak to someone from the office, please call 01224 878158 or email info@standrews-children.org.uk and someone will reply to you.
We have free onsite parking.
We really hope you can join us.
