Will it cost me anything to take part?
It costs adults £12.80 and children aged 12 and under £6.50 to take part (under 5’s can take part free of charge) but we would be very happy to refund your registration fees. Please send Dan Docwra, our Fundraising Manager an email with your bank details, the names of all walkers and the amount you have paid, and he will refund you the registration fees by bank transfer straight away (email@example.com)
How the Kiltwalk fundraising works
You can ask friends and family to sponsor your Kiltwalk either by filling in the Sponsorship Form that Kiltwalk will send a link for (or print direct from the Kiltwalk website) or they can donate via the Kiltwalk’s chosen online platform, Everyday Hero.
The great news is that The Hunter Foundation has pledged to top up all Virtual Kiltwalk fundraising by 50%, this means that every £100 raised by participants will see St Andrew’s Children’s Society receive £150!
Unlike many other challenge events, for the Edinburgh Virtual Kiltwalk Weekend there is no fundraising target – whatever you raise will help St Andrew’s Children’s Society.
Keep an eye on our Facebook page and Twitter account to find out who is doing the walk, where we’ll be going and how you can take part.
It’s going to be a tartantastic weekend!
