Newsletter November 2016

In the  the November 2016 edition of the St Andrew’s Adoption & Foster Care newsletter we say a fond farewell to Constance Bartley, retiring after 30 years with St Andrew’s.

You may well ask what a photo of a cruise liner is doing on the front of this newsletter. It came from Aberdeen Velga, who cruised on the Reflection earlier this year. The picture of the fireworks comes from the Aberdeen ‘Dads ‘N’ Lads’ group. The gathering of people are SafeBase™ parents who attended our Call-Back session – more inside.

The article regarding Trustees in the last edition of Reflections brought some good responses. Potential Trustees and Volunteers, read more.

Top tips seem to go down well, so there’s a seasonal one to help at Christmas Day Dinner.

We pay tribute to Alex Wilson, one of our long term foster carers, who sadly passed away earlier this year.

And to finish with, good news on the fundraising front.
