Did you know…
- You can adopt regardless of your sexuality, ethnicity or faith, if you already have children living at home, if you are over forty, and if you are single or in a relationship.
- The children we place come from very varied religious and ethnic backgrounds. Their family experiences are also very varied so we need to recruit adopters from all walks of life who have a range of skills and strengths.
- At St Andrew’s Children’s Society we have highly experienced and skilled adoption social workers and a dedicated adoption support team, ensuring that our adopters can access support when required.
- We run support groups for adults and young people as well as a variety of ongoing training opportunities for our adopters and foster carers.
Wherever you are in your adoption journey, contact us today – we’d love to talk.
